DAY 1 . HOTEL > SENARU VILLAGE > SENARU CRATER RIM
Pick up at 04.00 am in your hotel and transfer to the trek point at senaru village about 2 hours Drive from senggigi area, registration at rinjani trek centre ( RTC ).meet your mountain guide and porters than start the trek through thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. Rest stops area taken Along the way. Lunch served and route at post 2 montong sates shelter ( 1.500 m). After lunch continue walk up another 2 hours to post 3 mondokon lolak ( 2000 m), take some rest here than on to another couple
Of hours through grassy meadows to pelawangan 1 senaru/ crater RIM at 2,641 m.
Reach the crater rim around 5 PM , enjoy a view across the lake segare anak to the summit at of mt. Rinjani ant crater gunung baru jari (2,351m),and active volcano . On a Clear evening gili island,,Bali and mt. Agung can be seen to the west. Reach the crater rim around 4 or 5 PM,set up the tent and enjoy the views around . Dinner served at the campsite.
